main reasons of loss

rush to make money is a reason for loss for a lot of traders including me. everyone wants the same thing and thats to make a huge profit in a small of time. but we have to patient if we want to make money over a long period of time from forex.

fear is a reason for most of the losses, but you have to let the market move a little bit, because the market will go up and down all the time, there are many times when i have had a trade with 20 pips loss and then after some time, the trade goes in a 20 pip gain. patience is the key my friend

i feel causes of loss in trading is more related to human emotions and mindset. As we know all people are here to make money, so being human being we all have a fear of loose , want of more or greed which drives us to take hastic decisions. if we are able to control our emotions and think logically we can avoid loss.

there may be lots of reasons for losses. But practice and knowledge make us perfect. Do research on price movements for example why the certain pairs going down or going up, get updated with news, see the trends, use indicators, ask experts, don't panic if you are in losses and wait for correction.

i am 100% agreed with you..mostly our loss and profit depend on our emotions..we close our position if we are in little profit but we never close our position if we are in little loss ...we just think that our price will come and by that it getting big loss

It's the usual steretotype. We humans when we see a little profit we are pessimistic because we think it can go below our entry point. And we are optimistic when we see a little\huge loss, and hoping it will get back to our entry point. We should change these emotions to ZERO,

reason for the losses was nothing else but GREED!Yes Initially I traded with small amounts like $2 $5 etc. using huge lot sizes for account eg 0.03 for $2 acc. Many times I doubled my account in 5 hours. $2 to$4. Hoping this would go on forever was a bad idea as I waited too much before trades ran to loosing side.

Bilkul thek baat ki hai ap ny forex main loss humain apni lalach ki waja sy hota hai agar hum apny emotions ko controll karen aur trend ko dekh kar trading karen matlab k correct time per trade lagaen tu phir hum loss ko apni trading sy eliminate kar sakty hain.

i think most of the traders loose when they ignore their account balance and just trade with the greed of wanting more with less investments. I believe for making more profits one should invest more in the account. this the reason from my side

Salam !I am also feeling the thing what you are conveying, so it means to make good profit in forex trading, one should have a good amount of balance in his account and patience to stand with his nerves and the position opened .

the major player in the world forex market as well as multinational trading company have a huge access to capital.this they use to their advantage,that is why they have control of the market at the mercy of ordinary trader like us with low capital

the main reason of loss is that probably that's why it's easier for us beginners that have low capital to invest to have micro accounts. At least it feels like we have a big amount and little investment to trade. I am still happy with micro accounts.

i agree with you one should be able to handle such huge fluctuations or even more bigger than that to protect the account and still make the profit for waiting with the patience. now i making a strategy to suit my account balance and make slow profits with it to make sustainable profit.
