main reasons of loss

now i want to open the orders by seeing the margin i got, i want to trade only about 5 to 10% maximum of my account balance, so that i can sustain the losses even the market moves against me, atleast for a day or two to come back.

Avoid bad Days! perhaps this is another rule to follow. I got a lesson this week. maybe some days the market shows stranage behaviors and our usual strategies dont work. so I would say its better to leave trading rather than doubling your losses

agree with you, this is the best way to get rest before you back to trade most of use when we lose we insist to cover our losses and it makes us lose more and more, so the good idea to get away from trading after get some losses .

the decision to stay out in a market after a loss is difficult to follow by aggressive forex traders who wants to immediately revenge on the market,and they end up losing more,it pays to apply this withdrawal strategy from the market and get back later

i think the reason of loss could be we should always find out the cause of negative happenings only then we can change to positive. the causes of losses should be known. example lack of knowledge or lack of technical analysis might lead to loss.

fear of loose is one of the main reason to lose in this market and the best way to control this fear is (trading with that money you don't want) don't ever trade in this market with the money that you depend on for living if we do that i think we will not feel that fear when we're trading

Fear also contributes to one's performance. The first time, you make a trade which you thought is a winner and end up a loser. The next time you try to make an entry again, you will now fear it may also lose and subsequently didn't make the trade.

completely agree with you. Those forex traders that lose all the time and blow their accounts fall into this category, they trade without a plan. It sounds ridiculous but it is very true. They are some traders that do so. It's a pity though.

I think this thread is no doubt good and helpful but i think there is not easy way to gain when to enter and when to exist although i am a new trader till but believe after many days trading it may come in mind automatically after many trade and after learning from books also.

if you calculate the Daily average of each day, then you'll find that the great trend is on Tuesday-Thursday, while the market often get some price consolidation on Monday (as first day of week). While Friday it has a big deviation of range, sometimes it get ranging but in another time it would go with very strong trend.
