a lot is a deal, in forex trading every trasaction is a lot, you made a trasnaction on curide oil to buy is a called Lot and lot is to buy or sell on which you have to gain profit and loss on that, I will say every transaction is a lot.

In my point of views a lot is a trading voleum that we use for our trade in the forex trading business if we have good investment then we use good voleum if we have less investment then we use small lot.
