This downward trend has successive lower than the highest levels that can be linked by the trend line. It does not need to be exact, as what we are looking for is an area near the trend line. The downward trend can easily be identified using the trend line, since negative trends have trend lines that are sloping down both at the top and bottom. Reverse direction entries are pretty much straight forward. What we will be looking for is closing candles outside the trend line. If the trend is upward, we will be looking for the candlestick closes below the support level. If this is a downward trend, we will be looking for candlesticks close above the resistance level. These are potential escape indicators from the previous trend.
