usd/jpy why slow movement?

hi,i have observed that usd/jpy pair movement is very slow when compared to others i.e i mean in other pairs the number keep on changing but in this pair it take more time than others in movement.can anyone tell why? am i right?

The major reason for the slow movement in USD/JPY is because the Japanese Yen is gaining strength against the major currencies but the Japanese government is trying to use economic policies to weaken the yen against the dollar. Therefore whenever the dollar is getting weaker, there is stagnancy in the pair but when the dollar is getting stronger then the pair moves upwards. This is the result of intervention by the BOJ..............

USD/JPY is in great movement and now this pair touches 120 level so this pair is in great position and in this way we can make good profit in the market as well. Always respect the market trend in order to make positive pips in the market.

The trades between the countries and buyers and sellers will be less so the usd jpy movement is very slow . . The movement will be some what active during asian and newyork session . .

the worst pair in my trading career which gave me loss always is the usdjpy so i do not do trading on this pair because this pair has very unorthodox movement and i can not predict very well

Currency and Gold movement depends on the market and also depends on your trade volume. But it is not necessary that all the time this specific pair will be slow. If you are always monitoring the market you will know that it's movement not very much slow.
