i think that we named with trailling stop, you can find it on your metatrader but you have to keep your metatrader on or your trailling stop not work, but if you mean by lock profit with other positiion i think i dont really like that idea, i rather to close it and make new open position

I do not use stop loss when I open a position rather I keep it open and when I see the market moves in my desired direction then I put stop loss on break even and tp on S/R 2. And if the trendis so tstrong then I even remove stop loss and apply hedging after getting 100 pips or more to lock the profit. Locking profit is very old practice.
