i think there is two way to do this business
1. focus to the pips,which is we place a small lot and targeting a lot of pips in every trade we make to get profit.
2. focus to the lots,which is that we place large lots in every trade and targeting small amount of pips but still can get a lot of profit from the large lots that we use.
