How to trade in News strategy

I trade the news and technical too, and I have been making some reasonable profit from news trading.

In this thread, I want to be looking at the various news events as well as do live trading as the events come up.

There are high impact news events like the NFP, Interest rates, Unemployment rate, ADP Non-Farm Payroll, GDP, Housing Data CPI, Manufacturing production and all the major economic data from US, UK and Europe and Sometimes Canada.

The major news event that I will be analysing and trading live is the NFP news for the month of February. Before then, any other tradeable news, I will analyse for trading here.

There are different news events that happen in the forex market and each one has a value that is expected to trigger a reaction from the market. For example in NFP market watchers wait to see a difference of 70k between the forecast figure and the Actual figure that comes out when the news is released. If the difference is seen or higher then the market will react depending on the direction of the difference. If the difference is not seen, there is usually not much reaction or no reaction at all depending on the figure and the current fundamental bias.

I think news trading is quite dangerous for us because we are unable to make right decisions at that level so therefore we lose money too. Some traders trade on news and use pending orders for that but i am not interested in it and use only manual trading for earning green pips.
