Stop loss is very important in trading,because we canot always right in predicting the price.. All we can do just anilyzing the trend,and trade with strategies,,but strategies without stop loss can make us loss a lot..

the method of using stop loss has not been pipular amont the retail traders just because the majour capital we use as margin many times is not even up to the needed margin to set the stop loss. the attitude is simple set what you rather loose.
