if you have big cash in dollars , would you trade with it ?

If you have big amount of cash in dollars let's say 500K would you put it in forex to trade with it or just put them in some bank and use their profits every year or invest in some projects ...
or just buy a car or something !!
for me I'd put some in forex to trade with and spend the rest on myself :D !!
