forex and stock exchange. Difference?

hellow. What is the dufference between stock exchange and forex? How both perfom?.
Please guide me un this respect. Generally we can not differenciate them.?

My dear friends main ne stock exchange ka koi kam nai kiya but mere khayal main forex trading market stock exchange ki tarha hoti ha. but stock market kisi ek country ki market hoti ha but forex international market ha.
