Our emotions force us to invest into the savings account and also there are cases where we invest purely out of emotions like say bonds, forex and metal like gold. these are the cases where we are taking decisions purely out of the needs of our life. I don't think we take decisions without any fear. we work with emotion of fear in forex for making profit and avoiding loss.

In case of money management we save money because we feel like losing it in future. So surely the same insecurity which is again a safety emotion exist for us.
