not sure sell or buy

my experience is that most of the traders loose when they are not aware of there direction and they run behind the sudden price jumps.We should be very clear if we are to go short or long before placing a trade and must not jump behind sudden price moves.because in this situation a trader can not win enough even from winning trades too.
No mater if you don't look upon fundamental analysis but technical should be followed with a clear direction.what you say about it.
