when to increase risk

hi friends some trader think it wise to increase the risk as they make a profit or two. This is actually a mistake and may wipe out the account balance faster. Infact we should not increase the position size and size of risk until we have doubled our capital and when it is understandable that little more risk shall be affordable.give yopur opinions???
