i think at the start or for the new trader they should trade with the low risk as low as possible if they will trade with the lowrisk then of course they will survive until the end if they will do the trade with the high risk then it is not the possible for them to survive for the long term

Dear, Very good question and i think, there is not limit of loss stopage or percentage of risk of total value. But, if you expect profit then you can expect loss equivalent to your expectation and you can set stoppage at that full ratio of your expectation.

I think we can take 5% risk on every trade and i think it is much risk, if you have hundred dollars in trading account then you not take risk more then on 5$, it means that you can place 0.1 volume and if you get loss in fifty pips you will loose just 5$ and i think it is not a big amount.
