trailing stop

Hi all.

Apologies if this subject has already been covered.

I've recently started using trailing stops instead of fixed stops. My question is, how do you decide how much of a trailing stop limit to put in place. At the moment, I'm waiting until my position is in profit then place a trailing stop accordingly, usually 100pips. Is that a wise move?

bahi ge main ap ki bt hi samja sorry wasy ap ko urdu e read likhni cahye thi jis ki waja say har koi is ko raed kr sakta ok...agaay say ap urdu e likhna kiu k har koi read kr saky

ap ka kam karne ka tarika meri samaj se baher hai ap ko 100 pips itni greedy karne ki kiya zarorat hai hum 5 se 7 pips ka kahte hai agar ap ka balance bada hai tu ap ko lot ka size bada karna chahiye par pips 5 se 7 tak he rakhne chahiye.
