It can be a good strategy in the hand of an experienced trader but certainly not a perfect strategy. Indicators would be helpful in showing market trend so that the trade with the bigger lot size should be placed in the direction of market trend.

if our trading is going towards loss we can use the hedging technique which can compensate our loss some what means we can open a trade opposite to the trade going in loss but this needs a lot of practice and learning but i think if we understand it carefully its quite helpful.
