What does Swap means?

I am currently having a demo trading account in InstaForex. I understand almost all the functions in mt4 trading table however there are words in column that confuses me namely: swap, commissions,and requote. Can anyone elaborate for me what it all means and what function it stood for? I will appreciate all the help. Thanks in advance.
