Capital do you risk on a trade?

Would like to know how much of your capital each of you risks on a single trade. I risk 4% at most. Never more than that.

Before I started trading, I was able to go though some e-books on how to trade the forex successfully. It was actually designed for newbies. There was a recommendation the author made to any prospective forex trader.

am newbie and still i am doing practice but my practice mode is a little bit different i am doing practice in real account i have a little amount in my real trading account and trading with this amount.

Big investors bviously can enjoy big profits and feel safe because they will not fear an early margin call if they have done right money management. But it is totally wrong to say that forex is only..

Off course that's too high percentage to use 40% of your balance to risk it in forex market. By the way, when you risk 40% of your balance, do you use it in single transaction or you risked that much from some transactions which you did in the same time?

My knowledges about risk which commonly suggested by expert traders, that will be lower than 20% of our balance. I think it's not only risk for single transaction but also risk for many transactions in a period of time.

In reality, I never risked my transaction more than 10% of my account. I think that's too risky and I felt that I am careless if I risked more than 10% of my balance. Based on my experiences, when I risked too much (about 5-10%) in single transaction mostly I will suffer losses

Personally,i risk about 20% of my account on a single trade,though it may be very high and against the general principle of not risking more than 5% of your account balance on a single trade

because what you said means that big capital will make you not worry about risks. This will make it easy indulgence trader, trading bungled without thinking ... will require large capital strategy you can better manage the account and limit risks to better your account.

I am not negating the good side of big capital. It gives traders more profit. Overall management of a large account you will be way more pressure in the small account so that traders can plan appropriate to the problem of gross profit and good risk control

Risk taker are the best enterpreneurs in my point of view..risk taker can taste the fruit of success.so as to talk about riskof business,there are many forms of businss organaization where risk has to be borned by only proprieter

,i agree with you,for you to make large amount of profit in forex trade you would need a large amount of trading capital.A large amount of trading capital also means a large risk that you are being exposed to.
