*wait before order or after order?*

All of us are aware of the importance of patience in Forex trading. But only few of us is maintaining this great habit. And as a result, only few of us is real gainer.
But I would say that, actually we all wait, but most of us wait after placing order. When we have to wait, then why wait AFTER? Why not BEFORE? Waiting before placing order will give us more profit, and also it will safe our balance more. But "after waiting" has no surety, and has much risk.
So, what do you think about that? What time should we wait? Before or after?
