it depends on you lot size and the leverage you use. if you use high leverage and big lots the number of pips to double you account will go down and you will require more pips if you use low leverawge and small lot sizeAs many trader in forex trading that seeking this treasure,I still trying to figure out the key to get successful in this business,I do agree that there is treasure in forex that will make us earn a lot of money, just keep learn about itskills that you gain from practice(demo account), using good MM, and not greedy when trade. if you feel any greedy when you trade. i suggest you to close your terminal and go to sleep

i need only 40 pips to make my investment double using the leverage of 1:100 . to control your emotions in trading is the key to your success...but keep in mind that it is not so easy to get rid of emotion...what you can do with your emotions....to keep them as control as you can.....if not 100%...to some extent.....
