*why the cross pair spread so high?*

most of the forex broker spread is almost same or tolerable in major pairs. but when we going to trade in cross pairs the spread is unbelievable. it's too high. in aud/cad insta forex spread is 10pips!!! why?

as eac currency is offset aganist the us dollar in forex, you will have calculate three currencies when you are trading with crosses. for example, you want to trade gbp/jpy which derives frm gbp/usd and usd/jpy. ad the spreads of two currencies and you will get the spread fot gbp/jpy

there are brokers that have very high spread and that is usually on fixed spread account but i prefer floating spread type of account because it means when market is less volatile you get to pay less spread to enter a trade and i prefer trading with very low spread

if we want to get a consistent profit of course we have to learn to accept any profit that we will receive, like we gather a little profit, as long as it smoothly every day would have collected a lot
