Do not trust always on economic calendar.!.

In the past i have followed the economic calendar i mean that if a negative news has realized i place a sell order if positive a buy but someday i have read that don't count always on the news because maybe if a negative news have been realized it will turn to positive in a short time and i have seen on my trades it reversed back in a very short time.Do you agree that wee don't need to count on economic calendar?
