it depends on your amount that you have,if you want to get big profit then the risk will also be greater,so i suggest tryb to make small targets to avoid greater risk.

mere khayal say aap ko apni earning ka 5% per risk lena chahiye takay aap ka pura nuqsan aik hi dafa na ho jaye balkay aap ko chahiye kay market ko dekh kar risk le our take profit our stop loss zaroor lagaye.

I would like to put the same question in a different way; how much money can we afford to loose in one trade, over one day or a week? When we are trading we have taken and accepted risk. When we have small capital, we can afford to loose 1 or 2 dollars in a day If we are big shots, probably thousands of dollars a day. Categorize yourself within these parameters and fix your limits.

Every body knows that how much loss one can effort, because your account is in front of you and you know how much balance do you have. It depends on your account balance.

You can afford risk as much you have capacity of affording, now its up to you that how much you have capacity in your pocket to afford the loss.

i think of you want to take risk than it will be better to you that 20% of your capital should be your level in any investment because from that point and on word you will loss your other capital also......
