forex is money making machine or money lose machine?

trader cannot get patience immediately , it takes few months to control our impulsive action , I have tendency to place order the moment I see price moving quickly , I feel like going to miss some pips , later I realized I should have delayed the order , because I would have got still more pips as the price again goes back to previous high/low levels many times
