For anyone reading this thinking Nike Free Run 3 Vente France about getting a pair, I just picked up a pair a few days ago. So far I have done a 7 mile hill workout and an easy 5 miler. I ran all summer in the New Balance Minimus Road (MR00), so I m used to a pretty minimal shoe. I stepped on a rock though and bruised my foot pretty bad so I needed something with a little cushion until my foot heals completely.
Would this be a good shoe for someone who still heel strikes slightly? I currently run in the Nike Free 3.0, which has a heel toe differential, but my everyday shoes are all zero drop.
Nice work on helping develop a nice looking light 0-drop shoe. My reservation is that while I like the idea of a flexible sole, the fact that you can almost roll it up is a little overkill isnt it? feet don t bend like that. I run in similarly flexible
shoes (Frees), and whilst I enjoy them, I think I d give up a bit of flexibility and lose the grooves the stone collecting properties are getting a little annoying. :)
I had a wet run yesterday. The shoes are red, so now my socks have big red areas. The shoe dye ran. Cheap!!I expect if you run in the summer without socks and get sweaty feet, you will have shoe dye on your feet. I have read elsewhere that there was no problem running wet. I don t understand that. My socks are definitely very red.
If you re a light heel striker to forefoot striker this is definitely a shoe to consider, and at $119 it s the lowest price shoe in Newton s collection. These days it s priced right within range of many other shoes in its niche, though I d love to see the price down around $100. If you ve been wanting to try a Newton, this would be a great place to start.
Next, we have properties of the running gait which make it difficult for the shoe to maintain stability. In running, the peak pressure towards the ground is about 2.7 times body weight (in walking it is about 1.5), which means that the foot must be planted close to the median plane so we don t tip over. This means that the leg is leaning inwards, which in turn means that some of the force will be pointed sideways. This Nike Free Run 5.0 Pas Cher France sideways force is absorbed by pronation, but will also press the foot towards the medial side of the shoe. If the fit of the shoe is insecure or the upper is weak, the foot can be pressed slightly off center and pressure comes nearer to the edges, causing the shoe to tilt. Even if the fit is secure, the pressure may during the support phase travel too close to the edge for the shoe to remain stable. If the shoe starts to tilt, the foot will follow searching for stability. Adidas ZX 750 Pas Cher This is natural and not due to lack of strength.
