trade in one pair vs trade in many?

forex trading is not only business/trading but a way to learn and interact with other people to know the market with hawek eye. i think it is folish to quit such type of activity in this era. i wana continue it for a long long period of time.

in the beginning stage of forex trading business, you will concentrate on the one currency pair and to do the trading, to make the profit. after improving your skill, you will do the trading many currency pairs and to make the profit with short time.

Let's say I get a buy signal on e/u chart and g/u chart at same time and I want to trade .2 lots. Wouldn't it be better to trade .2 lots on one of the pairs vs. .1 lot on each pair?

Or, let's say I get signal to buy e/u and g/u and sell u/ch at the same time and I want to trade .3 lots. Wouldn't it be better to trade .3 lots on one of the pairs vs. .1 lot on each pair?

Or, let's say I get signal that all jpy pairs are weak and I want to trade .5 lots. Wouldn't be better to to trade .5 lots on one of the pairs vs. .1 lot on 5 pairs?

I can understand maybe spreading the lots due to diversification, but seems like the add'l spread for trading more pairs is more detrimental than trading all the lots on one pair.

Shouldn't the least spread with the most pip value be the determining factor on which pair to trade
