Making money in down market?

There is a misconception that in market newbies that you can only make money in a bull market e.g. if you are trading gold or silver and prices are falling, people feel it appropriate to stay away of it. But it is senseless and short selling allows to make profit even in bear market. You sell first and when prices slips down you can buy so making profit.

It is a good technique for earning profit in down market if someone plays this trick sensibly he may get good advantage.
