i think bid means to give a specific amount by oral call for a thing.Its means if i want buy a thing and some people are also interest in that thing so in this manner i and they are bidding in this mean.
ask are opposite of bid.
bid and ask is a two way price quotation that indicates the best price at which a trade or a transaction occurs betten buyer and seller.
