Trade with or without a stop loss!

It's up to the chart. Below/above a support or resistance, no matter its away 50pips or 150pips. Either below\above trendline or BRN. Don't keep sl and tp ratios fixed

i think stoploss is very important.
it's called as 'stoploss' not for nothing.
coz we cant always win the market. and i think in this forex business 'loss is a sure thing, but profit was just an probability'.

i aggree with u.. some people say not use stop loss.. but i was test it... the result is.. lost was very big.. without stop loss.. i cant manage loss.. maybe i also can bancrupcy

Without stop loss,its really means capital riskexposure of 100%.

But in this world, there persons who have "psychology of masochism"..
that is "willingness to hurt themselves, without being aware of it!"

Yeah, it is a really funny mindset though.

Say it is like an alcoholic whom doctor advice, not to drink anymore.
But she says Im enjoying it, why stop me.
(in this case she aware of the danger).
In the case of trading, trader is also aware she/he should use stop loss option,but choose not to use it. She/he "feels" he is like a supertrader,
that never lose a trade until REALITY come to "check mate! ".haha

We all do this sort of trading without SL "once or twice in our trading
career " it is all part of Trader's journey after all.

I have started my real account trading and already in loss of $3 , never mind.
But i appreciate the stop loss very much, because i have benefited much from it. especialy in my two recent trades, if i would have not used sl , i would have lost nearly 100 pips!.

Stop loss is important in trading FX. Once i had opened some positions and burst my account, from $1150 to $26 just in 1 hour plus, coz i was away for dinner. The reason was i never put my stop loss, and there was a big news announced at that moment, US Fed news, spike, 150pips up and down... huh... Luckily that was a demo account, good lesson for me!

same thing happend with me yesterday, i did short in usd-chf and didnt put sl and tp and then my pc got stuck and after 3 hours it got ok and when i opened and saw it was against me with around 100 pips..i just got shock and was angry with me and with my pc..

i think dear ke mein te kabi be forex mein stop loss use nai kia ha is ke reason ya he ke mein lot size boaht he kam lagta hon jis se mje itna problem he nai hoti ha lekin dear ya achi cheaz ha r is se ap ka bara loss hone se beach jata ha it is good

but i dont like to trade without stop loss and i have explained my view before
the market could goes against you more than 500 pips in few days

Trading based trend or long trading maybe need stop poss the preventive action. but for scalping just close if market movement not support our order.

The best scalping strategy is to close the trade as soon as you have lost 15 pips because most scalpers normally aim between 10 and 15 pips profit,same should also be applied to loss

yes, but sometimes the price goes against our deals 15 or 20 pips
then rebound ,i think it needs more practice to be a good scalper
then we can know if the price will rebound or not

last year i was trading without a Sl , as a newbie i was scared of evil brokers that hunt my Sl ! well in the beginning i thought that i am smart guy , who knows best and that i can defeat brokers and banks...and the end score was margine call few times...since then always Sl!
